Clifftop Cold Brew

Summer is in full swing, my ice cream consumption has increased ten fold and appetite for hot drinks has dropped...the solution...tankers of ice cold highly caffeinated cold brew ;)

And the recipe couldn't be simpler.

What you need:

Jug or vessel for storing

thin cloth for straining

200 grams of (Clifftop-obvs!) coffee

1.4 liters of filtered water

Fridge space and Time!

Method:

Grind your coffee coarse - coarser than French Press

Add to your jug, pour in the cold filtered water

Stir for 30 seconds - you want the grinds to settle at the bottom

Place in fridge covered

After 2 hours in the Fridge stir again.

Wait, 14-16 hours and serve

Your end result should be a mellow, smooth, sweet coffee that is very easy to drink and delicious.

I recommend El Fuerte for a fruity cold brew best served on ice without milk and the Santa Barbara from Guatemala for black or mixing with milk.

Enjoy!
